Hey there! I’m Raylene, a born and raised Calgarian who grew up having some fun adventures with my siblings. One day as we were goofing around in the kitchen, we decided to create nicknames for each other and that's when 'Mirthia' was born! 

The name gets me thinking of how so many of my favourite childhood memories revolve around baking. Making cookie dough with my sister and eating it in secret behind the couch. Biting into fresh homemade baking at Christmas. All the awesome birthday cakes - and hilarious cake fails; the overly minty one, the one made with orange juice instead of milk, the one that got dropped and eaten by the dog! But most of all, standing next to my Mom or Grandma while we baked cakes, muffins, bread, cookies, squares and pies. 

My passion for baking led me to cake decorating classes and since then I've enjoyed creating custom cakes and cupcakes for my family and friends. Now I want to share my passion with you and create a custom dessert to compliment your next event and help you create amazing memories of your own.
